Stoneware storage jars or crocks as they are often referred to were a necessity for storing meats,  making pickles and for preserving foods from spoilage in the early 1900’s.  Crocks were also a great product advertising medium for companies.  These W. A. Painters Pottery Works Crocks are a favorite for custom logo design.  They are available in two styles including one with ear handles and one with no handles.  Both crocks measure 5” tall and 4” wide.
